ISAI MAHASANGH meeting held on 20th february at jabalpur madhya pradesh

The National Core Committee of the Isai Mahasangh, India has authorized Mr. Rajan Nair, National General Secretary (Administration), Pune, to reconstitute the national body of all its wings and office bearers with immediate effect. He has also been empowered to reorganize and appoint National and State officials to ensure smooth functioning and to strengthen the community across the country.

It is important to state that for several years the Christian community has faced neglect under successive ruling governments. In many regions, anti-social elements and religious extremists have been allowed to interfere with constitutionally guaranteed rights. There have been instances of violence, attacks on places of worship, and disruption of the community’s right to live with dignity. Families, women, pregnant women, children, and senior citizens have reportedly been targeted in various states. In several cases, fabricated criminal and anti-conversion charges were allegedly filed against innocent members of the community.

Due to the absence of a strong organizational structure and effective leadership in the past, the community was unable to firmly challenge such actions and defend its constitutional rights.

With immediate effect, the following officials have been appointed through nomination and election to lead the organization peacefully and in accordance with constitutional and legal provisions across different parts of the country:

इसाई महासंघ, भारत की राष्ट्रीय कोर कमेटी ने श्री राजन नायर, राष्ट्रीय महासचिव (प्रशासन), पुणे को तत्काल प्रभाव से संगठन के सभी प्रकोष्ठों और पदाधिकारियों का पुनर्गठन करने हेतु अधिकृत किया है। उन्हें संगठन को सुदृढ़ करने तथा सुचारु संचालन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए राष्ट्रीय एवं राज्य स्तरीय पदाधिकारियों की नियुक्ति और पुनर्संरचना का अधिकार भी प्रदान किया गया है।

यह उल्लेखनीय है कि पिछले कई वर्षों से ईसाई समुदाय स्वयं को उपेक्षित महसूस कर रहा है। विभिन्न राज्यों में असामाजिक तत्वों और धार्मिक कट्टरपंथियों द्वारा संवैधानिक अधिकारों में हस्तक्षेप की घटनाएँ सामने आई हैं। अनेक स्थानों पर हमलों, उपासना स्थलों को नुकसान पहुँचाने तथा सम्मानपूर्वक जीवन जीने के अधिकार में बाधा डालने की शिकायतें प्राप्त हुई हैं। महिलाओं, गर्भवती महिलाओं, बच्चों और वरिष्ठ नागरिकों सहित शांतिप्रिय एवं कानून का पालन करने वाले समुदाय के सदस्यों पर हमलों की घटनाएँ भी दर्ज की गई हैं। कई मामलों में निर्दोष लोगों के विरुद्ध झूठे आपराधिक और धर्मांतरण संबंधी प्रकरण दर्ज किए जाने के आरोप भी लगाए गए हैं।

पूर्व में सशक्त संगठनात्मक ढाँचे और प्रभावी नेतृत्व के अभाव में समुदाय इन परिस्थितियों का मजबूती से सामना नहीं कर सका।

अब तत्काल प्रभाव से निम्नलिखित पदाधिकारियों की नियुक्ति नामांकन एवं निर्वाचन प्रक्रिया के माध्यम से की गई है, ताकि संगठन देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों में शांतिपूर्ण एवं संवैधानिक दायरे में कार्य कर सके:
